Barón Karl Kuffner de Dioszegh a diószegský cukrovar Baron Karl Kuffner de Dioszegh and the Sugar Factory of the Town of Diószeg
Baron Karl Kuffner de Dioszegh (* October 23, 1867, † December 12, 1924) was undoubtedly the most important figure of the town
of Diószeg (renamed to Sládkovičovo in 1947) and of the local factory, but also one of the most important personalities in the Hungarian
and later Czechoslovak sugar industry. He participated in the modernization of the sugar production; he was the author of several
patents and contributed also significantly to the development of agriculture. He was anvart collector, a patron and an organizer
of the economic and social life of the region.

Barón Karl Kuffner de Dioszegh (* 23. októbra 1867, † 12. decembra 1924) bol nepochybne najvýznamnejšou osobnosťou mestečka
Diószeg (od roku 1947 Sládkovičovo) a tamojšieho cukrovaru, ale aj jednou z najdôležitejších osobností uhorského a neskôr
československého cukrovarníctva. Výrazne sa podieľal na modernizácii cukrovarníckej výroby, bol autorom niekoľkých patentov
a významne prispel aj rozvoju poľnohospodárstva. Bol zberateľom umenia, mecenášom a organizátorom hospodárskeho a spoločenského
života regiónu.
