Seznam doporučených odrůd cukrovky pro rok 2012 List of Recommended Sugar Beet Varieties in the Czech Republic for the Year 2012
Thirty-eight varieties entered the list of recommended sugar beet varieties in the year 2011; there was a slight decrease
in the number of special tolerance varieties. Number of varieties treated by Cruiser and Force Magna preparations increased.
A record breaking yield of 98 t/ha
and sugar content of almost 18 % were recorded within the testing. The list is published
every year by the Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture (ÚKZÚZ) commisssioned by the Ministry
of Agriculture of the Czech Republic. Those who take part in the testing are Sugar Beet Growers Associations, sugar companies
and seed firms. The testing replaces the former system of United testing of registered sugar beet varieties (existing since 1993).
Leaf diseases, yield, sugar content, sugar yield etc. are evaluated. The overall indicator, the INDEX, expresses parameters of
a variety to the average of all tested assortment on a relative scale. The varieties are evaluated independently. SDO lists
not only the 2011 result, but also the two- and three- year long evaluation results.

Do seznamu doporučených odrůd bylo v roce 2011 zařazeno 38 odrůd cukrové řepy, mírně poklesl počet odrůd se speciální tolerancí.
Zvýšil se počet VJ namořených přípravky Cruiser a Force Magna. V rámci zkoušení byl zaznamenán rekordní průměrný výnos 98 t/ha,
cukernatost pak téměř 18 %.
Seznam zveřejňuje každý rok ÚKZÚZ na základě pověření Ministerstva zemědělství České republiky. Podílejí se Svazy pěstitelů cukrovky,
cukrovarnické společnosti a osivářské firmy. Zkoušení navazuje na systém Společného zkoušení registrovaných odrůd cukrové řepy
(existující od roku 1993). Hodnotí se výskyt listových chorob, výnos bulev, cukernatost, výnos cukru ad. Souhrnným ukazatelem,
vyjadřujícím parametry odrůdy k průměru celého zkoušeného sortimentu v relativních hodnotách, je INDEX. Odrůdy jsou posuzovány
v rámci stejné tolerance samostatně. SDO uvádí nejenom výsledky z roku 2011, ale i ze dvouletého a tříletého zkoušení.
