Vliv sucha ve středních Čechách na výnos bulev cukrovky Droughts in the Central Bohemia Region and their influence on the yield of sugar beet
The problems concern to reducing yield determined of unfavourable and risk meteorological events belong always to actual subject of
scientific studies. The submitted report deals with analyses of distribution precipitation during the growing season and related
occurrence of drought and dry spells. This report is adverts to the difficult comparison of results from different points of views.
It results from problems of basic terms as dry and wet period therefore the authors recommend to apply to classification more criterions.
The authors performed analyses both of databases including period of 47 years (the sugar beet yield and agrometeorological database)
for the classification of drought and dry spells. The modified model of climatic variability of yield Cm, method of thermopluviogram
and index of drought Si were applied as standards. The years 1976, 1990 and 1991 were evaluated as the unfavourable for the growth
and ontogenesis of sugar beet.

Problém snižování výnosů v důsledku nepříznivých a rizikových meteorologických jevů patří mezi stále aktuální témata vědeckých studií.
Předložený příspěvek se zabývá analýzou distribuce srážek ve vegetačním období a s tím souvisejícím výskytem sucha a suchých období.
Poukazuje na obtížnost srovnávání získaných výsledků v rámci různých pohledů, která souvisí také s obtížným definováním základních pojmů.
Autoři proto doporučují používat pro hodnocení vždy více kritérií.
K hodnocení sucha a suchých období provedli autoři rozbor výnosů cukrovky a agrometeorologickou analýzu rozsáhlé databáze zahrnující období 47 let.
Jako kritéria použili modifikovaný model klimatické proměnlivosti výnosů Cm, metodu termopluviogramu a index sucha Si.
Jako nejméně příznivé pro
růst a vývoj cukrovky byly vyhodnoceny roky 1976, 1990 a 1991.
