Sugar Beet Varieties Registered in 2016
The tests were based in seven localities on two systems of cultivation: with and without fungicidal treatment. Average yields were about 8 t/ha lower than in 2014
and sugar content reached 19%. To get registered it is necessary to reach an overall indicator “index” of min. 101.5 in at least one system of cultivation after three years
of testing; after two years of testing in case of standard varieties as well as the ones immune to beet-cyst nematode, the index must be min. 102.0 in both the test-years
in the same variety. Based on the results of registration tests 19 new sugar beet varieties will be entered into the Czech Directory of Varieties in 2016; 13 varieties
are standard and 6 are immune to beet-cyst nematode, mostly type N and NV.
Pokusy byly založeny na sedmi lokalitách ve dvou systémech pěstování, s fungicidním ošetřením a bez ošetření. Výnos byl v průměru o 8 t/ha nižší než v roce 2014 a cukernatost
dosahovala 19 %. Pro registraci po třech letech zkoušení nutné dosažení hodnoty indexu min. 101,5 alespoň v jednom systému pěstování, po dvouletém zkoušení u odrůd tradičních
i s odolností k háďátku řepnému musí být hodnota indexu min. 102,0 po oba roky zkoušení v téže variantě. Do Státní odrůdové knihy bude v roce 2016 nově zapsáno 19 odrůd, z toho
13 klasických a 6 s odolností k háďátku řepnému, převážně N a NV typu.
