Sugar Beet Varieties Registered in 2015
Based on the results of registration tests 14 new sugar beet varieties will be entered into the Czech Directory of Varieties
in 2015; 10 varieties are standard and 4 are immune to beet-cyst nematode. To get registered it is necessary to reach an overall
indicator “index” of min. 101.5 in at least one system of cultivation after three years of testing; after two years of testing
in case of standard varieties as well as the ones immune to beet-cyst nematode, the index must be min. 102.0 in both the test-years
in the same variety. The tests were based in seven localities and on two systems of cultivation: with and without fungicidal
treatment. Average yields reached cc 86 t/ha and average sugar content cc 18 %.
Na základě výsledků registračních zkoušek bude do Státní odrůdové knihy v roce 2015 nově zapsáno 14 odrůd převážně N a N-NV typu,
z toho 10 klasických a 4 s odolností k háďátku řepnému. Pro registraci po 3 letech zkoušení bylo nutné dosažení hodnoty indexu
min. 101,5 alespoň v jednom systému pěstování, po 2 letech zkoušení u odrůd tradičních i s odolností k háďátku řepnému musí být
hodnota indexu min. 102,0 po oba roky zkoušení v téže variantě. Registrační pokusy byly založeny na sedmi lokalitách ve dvou
systémech pěstování: s fungicidním ošetřením a bez ošetření. Průměrný výnos byl cca 86 t/ha, průměrná cukernatost cca 18 %.
